Overview of the Aromatica Australia Conference
After more than six years apart, Australia's aromatic community is coming back together — face to face. Aromatica Australia 2027 brings the whole industry into one room: the farmers who grow it, the distillers and suppliers who bring it to market, and the practitioners and enthusiasts who work with it every day.
Alongside a line-up of international and local speakers, you'll spend four days on the Gold Coast learning, connecting, and being reminded why you fell in love with this industry in the first place.
Looking Ahead to 2027
In 2027, we anticipate a conference that grows on the previous experiences of both face-to-face and online interactions, drawing more into the warmth of the Gold Coast and the wonders of the aromatic world.
Early bird tickets go on sale 1 September 2026. Full price tickets are available from 1 April 2027. Save over $100 for the conference by securing your early bird ticket as soon as possible.
Conference seating is limited due to the venue size, ensure you have your seat by getting your tickets today!
The conference begins on Friday. Registration opens on Friday afternoon with a free workshop from Deby Atterby, registration and a welcome drink for all in the River Room. If you book for Sat/Sun only, or the full conference package, you are invited to the welcome drinks on Friday to relax and network before the weekend.
Saturday is a day full of presentations from seven speakers. Please see the schedule for the speakers details and the topics of their presentations. After the presentations, and before the Awards Dinner, there will be a video for all to view, Is That You? ensure you are there to spot if you are in the video of the history of Aromatherapy Today and Aromatica Australia.
The Awards Dinner will begin from 5.30pm, with Salvatore Battaglia our MC for the evening. We will be presenting awards to those in the Aromatherapy industry that you have voted for! Has your favourite aromatherapist or farm gathered all the votes? The dinner is a buffet dinner, with dancing by DJ after the meal and awards. If you cannot attend the conference, consider attending the dinner, tickets are separate to the conference.
Sunday is another full day of presentations from nine speakers. Please see the schedule for the speakers details and the topics of their presentations. The raffle draw will occur at 3.30pm, make sure you have bought your tickets by then.
Workshops are an additional extra to this full and informative conference. On Monday you can book for one, two, three or all four workshops. These are hands on events where you will explore further into the use of essential oils. Be sure to book this option separately.

This year's programme brings together voices from across the aromatic world — from Dr Chizu Kumagai's clinical aromatherapy research in Japan, to Julia Falkenstein's gut-health expertise from Germany, to home-grown Australian leaders like Elizabeth Greenwood, Lisa Day and Annie Meredith.
